Cream of cauliflower with Bechamel

ingredients

     1 large cauliflower
     1 c. cornflour
     40 g butter
     1.5 L of milk
     75 g grated cheese
     salt pepper

Preparation

STEP 1- Lavez cauliflower, remove the green leaves, remove the bouquet and remove the fibrous film at the foot of each bouquet.

STEP 2- Turn bouquets in a pot of salted water and cook for 15 minutes.

STEP 3- The end of cooking, drain the cauliflower florets and place them in a baking dish. Book.

STEP 4- preheat the oven grill position.

STEP 5- Faites Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.

STEP 6- Ajoutez cornflour at once and stir well until a roux.

STEP 7- Délayez the mixture by pouring the milk gradually, stirring well, and cook until you get a smooth and homogeneous sauce.

STEP 8- Hors fire, salt and pepper Bechamel sauce to your taste and mix well.

STEP 9- Versez bechamel sauce over the cauliflower florets in the dish and sprinkle with grated cheese.

STEP 10- Passez the cream of cauliflower under the broiler for a few minutes, until the cheese is browned.

STEP 11- hot Servez accompanied by a tossed green salad.
